BOOK LAUNCH: Pamela Rushby’s THE HORSES DIDN’T COME HOME

Pamela Rushby’s THE HORSES DIDN’T COME HOME launched by Susanne Gervay with publisher Lisa Berryman

Publisher Lisa Berryman introduced and thanked Susanne Gervay.
Susanne spoke about Pam’s wonderful new book and then read a segment for us.
Pam Rushby
This book is beautifully written and shines a light on an important slice of our history. Here is a quote from the Harper Collins site -

‘The last great cavalry charge in history took place in Beersheba in the Sinai Desert in 1917. It was Australian soldiers and horses that took part in, and won this amazing, unexpected, unorthodox victory.
The men proudly claimed it was their great-hearted horses that won the day.
But in the end, the horses didn’t come home…’
Well done, Pam. You are an inspiration!

  1. Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the roving reporters feeding back info about the conference this weekend. I have been following the blog closely and so wish I could have made it down there this year. Still, being able to read all about it as it is virtually happening has been fantastic. Thanks to you all. Hopefully will be there with bells on for the next one.

    Cheers,

    Lynn

  2. Thank you so much for your comment, Lynn. I will pass it on to them for sure. It's been a wonderful experience for my RRs (I'm sure) and me! :) They've done a fabulous job - and a special thank you to the oganising skills of Alison Peters who sorted us all.
